LinkedIn groups are a waste of time unless you moderate your own successful group. Participating in other groups opens you up to the risk of having a group moderator tagging your posts as spam. Group moderators are often competitors who have an incentive to mark your posts as spam even when the posts are in line with the group’s rules. LinkedIn then identifies your account as a spam account and requires posts in every group to be moderated before posting it. And LinkedIn doesn’t even have a a mechanism to dispute. Use LinkedIn groups at your own risk.
