Finding Talent Using Twitter Search (Infographic)
For many people in recruitment, talent and HR, Twitter still proves to be a social media platform many simply shy away from. And yet it is such a fantastic social recruiting tool for identifying and engaging with people - candidates and clients included. While there are many tools that can be used in conjunction with Twitter, such as Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sprout Social etc there is a search tool that many people overlook, and that is Twitter itself.
The Twitter.com website is now a very good user experience, and provides huge amounts of opportunities to search for people, curate talent pools (via Lists), search for #hashtags, message privately and engage with people. And the real bonus is that the mobile experience on a smartphone or a tablet are also very good indeed.
To make it easier to understand the options for using Twitter for talent searching I have created an infographic with all the relevant search terms you can use. I hope you find it useful - give some of the terms a try - you might find yourself warming to Twitter for recruiting in 2015.
